AndyNT Posted April 22 Posted April 22 For clarity. In the UK, the Post Office provides the retail branches where you can buy stamps, post items etc. The Royal Mail is a letter and parcel delivery organisation. They are two separate business entities and not one organisation.
Matthew Heumann Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Two comments from experience. Duty Free is different than Customs Brokerage/Processing Fees. Processing usually always gets charged, though small. In the past, I've always received an email alert that Customs is holding the concertina awaiting payment of fees with a link to do this, after which the package was sent on to its destination. But depending on which Customs hub the package goes through, it can be held for up to a week. But I've never had one fail to arrive.
