Rare 48 key Jeffries English concertina on offer

Rare opportunity to buy a 48 key Jeffries English concertina. Stamped C Jeffries Maker 23. Praed St London W. It has brass reeds in brass shoes/frames. Great sound and action. All reeds are playing (in and out). Concertina is pitched one semitone higher. Lowest note is Ab below middle C. Highest note is C# 3 octaves above middle C. 

 

Original 4 fold bellows and thumb straps. Thumb straps will need to be replaced in the near future by the looks of it. The bellows have some scuff marks on one of the corners. Comes with its original leather case with no lock/latch. Would consider offers over 2,250 GBP plus 125 GBP for shipping. As in the past, I’ll make a donation to concertina.net if sold. 

 

I may be able to hand over or send the concertina off in Scotland or England in May.
