4to5to6 Posted March 21 Posted March 21 (edited) Wheatstone Model 14 Baritone Treble, 56 keys, good period. If you like the idea of the 48 Key tenor, you will love the idea of this 56 key baritone treble! It is in fully restored condition at a very reasonable price. The model 14 takes the concept of the 48 key Tenor a step further... as the 48 key tenor removes one row of high notes off the top and adds an extra row of low notes on the bottom (extending the treble into the tenor range), the model 14 takes a row off the top of a 56 key tenor treble and adds an extra row of low notes on to the bottom (extending the tenor treble into the baritone range). Beautiful smooth tone. Amazing dynamics, medium volume, clear but not shrill. Everything a concertina should be IMHO. A 56 BT, 1/2 octave lower without the high notes keeping the size and weight down. Great for song accompaniment or adding low notes and chords below the melody. G to G, 56 keys plus air, Baritone Treble (Middle C on LH side, the same as a treble) Similar to a Tenor Treble but 1/2 octave lower. Rare as a purple unicorn 😊 Restored by Greg Jowaisas, Kentucky Tuned to A440 7-fold bellows 2,230 grams, 8" across the flats.
