Pikeyh Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Here is an update on this amazing duet concertina . It’s now back in the Travers family, the grandchildren of the man who commissioned it from Wheatstones! One of his descendants, Martin Travers, contacted me a couple of years ago after finding posts about this concertina and his grandad in this forum . A couple of weeks ago I decided that it needs to go back to the family , as it’s part of their history . 4 1
wes williams Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Martin Travers also contacted me a week ago, so I was very pleased to email him links to scans of various documents related to his grandfather. Perhaps we'll learn some more about his involvement with concertinas and many of the famous players circa 1900-1950. 2
