irishplayer Posted February 16 Posted February 16 (edited) Dear all, I'm currently writing a history of the late Larry Kinsella's music and system of playing concertina (see The Barley Grain album from 2008), and have reached out and interviewed people who knew him around Wexford and Wicklow to gather context and background. Next, I am focusing on connecting with concertina players and students of his who would have known him throughout the 1980s and 1990s. I would be very interested to hear from anyone who would have been at his classes - especially Scoil Samhraidh Willie Clancy, the Joe Mooney Summer School, and / or The Phil Murphy Weekend. I am hoping to gather stories and experiences about how he taught for inclusion in the research. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
