The Highland Widow's Lament.
.
This old Scottish Air first appeared in print in Scots Musical Museum in 1797, but it was among the favourite airs of Robert Burns, to which he set a lyric lamenting the destruction of the Highlands by the Duke of Cumberland's forces after Culloden.
Played on Hammered Dulcimer, English Concertina, Fiddle & Nyckelharpa.
