Jim Besser Posted January 25 Posted January 25 For a while now, I've been interested in tunes written by the late Greg Trice. A tunebook compiled by his friends, with the accompanying recording, is a treasure. I particularly like this hornpipe, Custard & Chips. Played on a 30 button Jeffries G/D Anglo. https://soundcloud.com/concertinist/custard-and-chips-1-23-2025 7

Thank you! I've had this tune in my tune book for several years. Brings back fond memories of Ken from Preston, a fellow student at Lanchester Polytechnic in the late 1960s who regularly put custard on his cabbage, and gravy on his sponge pudding..🙂 ABC, and a PDF of my slightly edited version of a Peter Dunk transcription attached... cac.abc cac.pdf Edited January 26 by Roger Hare 1
Jim Besser Posted January 26 Author Posted January 26 Thanks for that; the Peter Dunk transcription is a bit of an improvement. Custard on cabbage? I don't know about that....
