Aquarussell Posted October 23, 2003 Posted October 23, 2003 I was just visiting eBay and found that the Jackie is offered there. What a good idea! Many people who wouldn't know where to find it otherwise will see it there. I am glad to see the Concertina Connection getting the word out like that.
Richard Morse Posted October 23, 2003 Posted October 23, 2003 Except if you're referring to THIS eBay item, Dyer is offering it, not the Concertina Connection. I assume that these are made in China and available through the wholesale network. I find it interesting (and alarming) that Dyer is STARTING his bidding at $30 higher than CC's retail price....
Aquarussell Posted October 23, 2003 Author Posted October 23, 2003 No, I hadn't seen that one. I saw this one from Concertina Connection[/url] I have never inserted a URL before, so if it didn't work the eBay number is 2566100275. It's listed as a "Buy it Now" for the regular $230, and includes in the description the text from their own web site and a few sound files.
JimLucas Posted October 23, 2003 Posted October 23, 2003 Yep, it's a real "Jackie", listed by Concertina Connection, with all their standard accessories (book, case,...). Good. The Dyer instruments are not identical to the Jackie, and have never used that name.
