Duncan Luddite Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Just found another 1850's EC with identical fretwork as my Jabez Austin. It's on concertinashop.com.au and is 48 key by Rock Chidley; so it would seem that the fretwork was done by the same fretwork 'house'. The three JA's in the Concertina Museum have quite different designs, as well as the JA an owner put up on this site some years ago. On the Concertina Museum, the first 4 Rock Chidley EC's have the same fret design. I'm intrigued
Richard Mellish Posted January 11 Posted January 11 FWIW my 1861 Rock Chidley (with a Keith, Prowse &Co label) has very different fretwork. 1
