John Ray Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Hello everyone! Last year, I bought this concertina from this forum, but I don't think the concertina is the instrument for me. I think it's beautiful, and I have the utmost respect for those of you that can really rip on them, but I'm not one of those people evidently. 🙂 In any case, I probably only put 50 hours of playtime into the instrument. The bellows have a great seal and the reeds are shockingly in tune (to me). In the video below, there is sometimes some "stuttering" when the sound starts, but that's not a problem with the reeds or bellows, that's just me not being able to get a clean draw from that angle. If that's a concern, I'd be happy to make another video in actual playing position. I originally bought it for $1,000 USD, which I thought was a great price, and I'd like to sell it for $1,000 USD. Case included, of course. More pictures to follow. Thanks everyone! https://youtu.be/2QRoo4IBN7g Â
juan jose Posted January 12 Posted January 12 hola Ray a donde se puede venir a probar este instrumento, gracias. Â
John Ray Posted January 12 Author Posted January 12 Hi @juan jose! Thanks for reaching out. I live in eastern Michigan, USA, and this is just a personal sale--I don't have a store or any similar items elsewhere. If you happen to be close by, I'd be happy to meet up.  Like I mentioned in the original post, I am not really a player at all, but if there is anything you want demonstrated in a video, closer pictures of, etc, I'd be happy to get that for you and post it here.
Wolf Molkentin Posted January 13 Posted January 13 my first concertina was an Excelsior like this one, really loved it! Â good luck with the sale!
