Toner Family Tapes 01 - concertina etc performances at family parties etcs

Hey guys, long time no see!

Finally, 'Toner Family Tapes' are being digitised for archiving/preserving/sharing.  I'm getting in touch with my music forums (concertina & pianoworld) to ask if anyone can advise on the unknown songs, if I can't identify them 1st; their marked TBC.

Hope you can enjoy too, share any thoughts on the songs or performances!

This 1st one (both sides) is a good one to start the New Year with.

I'll be back when TFT 02 is ready.  What's a good frequency to wait between these.  Would 1 a month be okay I wonder; as I'm still uploading two 78s a weekend for archive.org.?

PS: here's the corrected audio; to replace the wrongly duplicated audio on the other side ( an oversight from assuming the audio's position on the  waveform file without listening). 🤪

Yes, I love doing these.  Looking forward to listening again.  This was digitised over a year ago.  There's a lot to do yet, hence needing to spread out the frequency to not less than monthly I think (as so much else to do).  Enjoy! 🫠

 

PS: Sorry about the condition of the instrument and bad acoustics.  It got a full long overdue overhaul in UK by the Dippers, not that long after this come the later tapes. Earlier recordings aren't bad either, but at this point 1983 the condition was tired by the sounds of it.
