hi, I just got plane tickets to Dublin for January 23-25.
In those days there will be the TradFest and I would like to attend some concerts by artists who play the concertina.
Do you have any advice on who should I see?
Any advice on places related to concertina music that are absolutely worth visiting?
Grazie ;)

I had a quick look at Trad fest's website last night but it seems a low concertina density area. Josephine Marsh and Michelle Mulcahy are multi instrumentalists who play the concertina well. Mick Kinsrella accompanies himself on the Co certina at times but other than that, nothing jumped out concertina-wise. Lots of other things to listen to, though.

In the wintertime the Concertina Cruinniu has the highest concertina density, if you are travelling fto Ireland or that reason.

For a concertina-related visit in Dublin, some people recommend the Irish Concertina Company’s shop (I haven’t been there myself). I believe that McNeela Music also have concertinas.

For TradFest I do suggest seeing someone like Cormac Begley or Chris Droney play a concertina.

Apparent AI bot post. These things really will end up killing forums like this with  wordsalad, clueless advice and inept platitudes.

Just to clarify: the post I responded to this morning has since been removed. As have two others by same poster around the same time.
