World Concertina Day 2025! Zoom registration open and new merchandise

It's near time for World Concertina Day 2025, sponsored once again by the International Concertina Association!  The official day is February 6 as usual, with events around the world scheduled before and after that day.  Details at https://concertina.org/world-concertina-day-2025, with several additional events in the works but not quite ready for posting yet.

 

On February 8, ICA will be hosting another free online players gathering on Zoom, open to everyone.  Preregistration is required - you can register here.  I hope to see many of you there!

Can I put in a plug for the Chiltinas concertina group session: Chiltinas, based at Maulden (near Bedford) will be holding their World Concertina Day session on Sunday February 16th 2025, 2.00-6.00, featuring a choice of a concertina-themed agenda for parts playing  https://www.chiltinas.org.uk/meetings/meetings-wcd2025/ and a self help group for players of all types of concertina and playing level. Thanks, John!  Your event is now on the WCD 2025 web page along with three other UK events, one in Australia and one in my own area in the USA.  (I've heard about three other events in Australia but don't have details yet.)
