Morse #1392 made in Sunderland, MA. C/G, Jefferies layout, 30 button, cherry wood finish. Good to excellent condition with case.

Sadly, I can no longer play due to degenerative disc disease, severe arthritis and upper arm muscular weakness.

$2500 includes continental USA shipping with insurance.

Figured out how to send photos to you Maureen (obviously!) I can have my son take a video of the instrument being played. I am in a neck brace until the end of January so I won't attempt a tune, but at least you would have a sound file.

I can send you a video of the concertina being played (sort of). I am recovering from major surgery on my neck at the end of October and several of my vertebrae are fused. This limits my movement and in addition I have muscular weakness in both my arms. I had always hoped that I would be able to play again but I have to accept the reality that I just cannot do it anymore. If you give me your email address, I'll send the video. Although it is a very short video, it is too large to send in this format.

Hello Mr.Silver! I am currently playing on a Concertine Italia. I am looking to upgrade as I have been playing for a year. I was wondering if it may be possible to arrange an in-person meeting to test and potentially purchase this fine instrument.

I started with a Stagi (Concertina Italia) last December and moved up to the Morse Ceili a few months later. The two are worlds apart! Being new to the concertina it wasn't an issue to switch over to the Jeffries layout.

I own a Morse C/G (in the 1600s) and can attest that it is a great step up into the intermediate instrument category, perfect moving from Stagi or similar beginning concertina.

I am in the Northwest Hills of Connecticut so it depends on where you are and how far you are willing to travel. I cannot drive long distances.

This is my YouTube Channel and has an intro and outro recordings of this concertina. The outro has a longer sample

so is this still available when was it lst serviced

It is still available. There was a stuck key which was fixed when the Button Box was still in business. I think that must have been about 3 years ago. It had a thorough cleaning and no problems since, but I have not played it in a year and a half due to severe arthritis. I did take it out to test it and everything seemed fine.

I’m interested. I have one and like it a lot. It’s in the shop for some, I hope, simple repairs, but it’s taking forever. I like the Morse enough that I’d like a back up. This is the first time I’ve responded on here, so I’m not sure how this works.

I'm also interested to know if this has sold.

Also, I hope your recovery is going okay. I had a double corpectomy to fuse four vertebrae about 12 years back.
