Attention everyone!!! Lately I didn't post often or read this forum, muchless was I selling any concertinas. On December 7th, my account was hacked and this stream was opened offering a concertina for sale with a rather scarse information about whereabouts of the seller, the quality of the instrument, even without price or details about posting costs. Someone was scammed without my knowledge and to my great horror and I must say to my shame for my identity was stolen and my good name tarnished. The victim has lost almost 800€ and I can do nothing but urge to absolute prudence before transferring money to an unknown person.

Very bad news - thank you for letting us all know.  The same photos seem to be on this DoneDeal listing in Ireland: https://www.donedeal.ie/brassandwind-for-sale/concertina/35855360 .  The scammer might have lifted them from there. 

 

And though likely unrelated, AP James's own website seems to be down.  It looks like it was functioning in May as per https://web.archive.org/web/20240520113540/http://www.apjmusic.co.uk/ .

Very worrysome. The attacker seems to be a close follower of the forum. Quite some criminal energy and planning went into that scheme.

Thanks - you are right.  I can access it in Firefox but not in Chrome (because it's not an https site).
