Or wait a bit and we'll be a Canadian province...... 😏

Another fellow Vermonter and concertina player?  This will be a real selling point for us. Also the beer. There’s a lot of beer here.

A New Yorker but my first fiddle inspirations came from the lively playing of the Quebecois participants at the Craftsbury Commons contest over 50 years ago.  It's tough to keep my intonation tight these days but the concertina is more forgiving.  I'm having a blast adapting that repertoire to the Jeffries duet!  And beer?  the Vermont beer has a refreshing tang to it, as do the ladies if I recall...😃

I have Heritage #409.  Great concertina.  Frank arranged the purchase for me, as the concertina came from an estate.  It was a real pleasure getting to meet him in person and to hear him play it as well.  Good luck with your sale.

Yes! Frank Edgley is a gentleman. I have 2 concertinas of this factor; the 1st bought in 2006 (with accordion reeds) that I love. A smaller format (which suits me better) than the Heritage . Whenever I had information needs or to have an information he was always very competent and responsive. His concertinas all are so easy to get a fast action in the bellow; make me feeling like it is marshmallow!

Haha!  I don't know about the marshmallow, but it certainly is fun to play.  I haven't had a chance to play one of his hybrid models, but I'm sure they're a very nice instrument as well.
