larryjhs Posted November 29 Posted November 29 Are there any score/fingered versions available? It’s just great finger exercise I think. thanks
David Barnert Posted November 29 Posted November 29 Unlikely. The Well-Tempered Clavier is a huge work, containing two sets of 24 preludes and fugues (one in each major and minor key in each set). That’s a total of 96 individual movements, many in keys that are awkward (if not impossible) on the Anglo. I’m not an Anglo player, so I don’’t know for sure that some of the keys are impossible on Anglo, but I’d be surprised if they weren’t. But if it’s been done and anybody knows about it, it’s @cohen (Cohen Braithwaite-Kilcoyne). Perhaps my having tagged him might lure his attention to this thread.
larryjhs Posted November 29 Author Posted November 29 (edited) Thanks, I thought of Cohen. He has some short scale exercises, that sound derived from Bach, but even a few pages would be good. I’ll email him. There are some flute transcriptions in C . I might do markup of one by hand and see what happens. It’s such sublime music. thanks Edited November 29 by larryjhs
