'The Log Driver's Waltz'.

Sorry folks, I couldn't resist this - it made me laugh out loud - no concertina music, but there's a very brief concertina sighting in this National Film Board of Canada short:

It's about 1:13 into the film and lasts about 5 seconds.

Obviously a cheap model  - he just throws it away into the water when he has finished with it. 🙂

Nice cartoon. Almost from a different planet rather than just a few decades ago.

Yes, I noticed that - probably a CCC. Nice tune - concertina or no concertina...

Caught the end of an old war film "Above us the waves". (Spoiler alert/) One of the mini subs gets blown up at the end ( /Spoiler alert) and there is a very poignant shot af an english concertina floating in the water.

Can't see the screen shot at my end. I don't think I'm doing anything stupid...

Roger, Corrected, It rejected my first attempt as the file was too large.

Apologies for the quality. When I tried to capture via "Snipping Tool" the ITVX screen on my PC goes black, so had to take a screen shot with my phone, so got a lot of interference between the scanning rates etc.

The movie is available in its entirety on YouTube. The concertina is briefly seen (but not played) in drier times at the 41-minute mark. Would the Germans still have been shooting at them if they had a German concertina instead?!?
