Abel Miser Posted August 25, 2024 Posted August 25, 2024 Hi everybody - I find it difficult to find a layout of keys for an English Concertina tenor-treble (going down lower than G). Can anyone help me where to find such an „organigram of keys“? Thank you very much! Abel Miser

Riggy Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 Here's my current chart for my Dickinson Tenor Treble
Matthew Heumann Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 (edited) The beauty of playing my 64-button tenor-treble is that its fingers exactly like a 56-key treble with an extra octave added at the bottom. No wonky finger positioning to relearn like most tenor-trebles. Edited August 29, 2024 by Matthew Heumann typo
d.elliott Posted August 30, 2024 Posted August 30, 2024 Riggy, it is interesting that you have Db's on the LH side and D#'s on the RH side. I recently sorted one out that had Db's through out, I converted all the Db's to D#'s as part of the exercise. Fortunately all but one of the Db's were made as D#'s that had been tip weighted to bring them down by a tone. The odd one I had to replace to maintain an even reed power and response.
John Wild Posted August 30, 2024 Posted August 30, 2024 The lowest note on the left side 4th row reads Bb on the diagram. Is that correct or a mistyping for Db?
