Eric Lerner Posted July 17, 2024 Posted July 17, 2024 I bought this instrument new late in 2020. It was advertised as an “intermediate” instrument. I learned from this that my playing has gone beyond intermediate, so I’ve played this one very little. It’s time to find it a new home. There are links to more pics below, as well as a video of me playing a tune on this instrument. McNeela Phoenix Anglo-chromatic system concertina; 30-key, C/G, flat ends, matte black finish, Delrin buttons, steel reeds, riveted action, 6-fold leather bellows, Wheatstone note layout, with hardshell case. It’s in like-new condition, except for a few trivial scuffs. 6½” across face plates. 15 buttons on right, plus air button. 15 buttons on left. Weight = 1 kilo / 2lb 4oz without case, 5 lb 8oz with case. I’d sell this for $1400 (or best offer) plus $25 shipping to a USA address by USPS priority mail, or pick it up in Ithaca, New York. No international shipping. I expect to make an appropriate donation to concertina.net after this sells. More pics -- Phoenix pics Recording -- Delaware Hornpipe (McNeela Phoenix demo)
