Ptarmigan Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 (edited) The Wild Hills o'Wannie & The Hills of Glenorchy. . A Northumbrian Air & Scottish 6/8 March which are clearly different versions of the same tune. In Ireland it's played as a Jig & known as The Rollicking Boys around Tanderagee. The earliest version to be published was the March, in 1805, suggesting that the tune may originally be Scottish. Played on Hammered Dulcimer, Tenor Guitar, English Concertina, Fiddle & Bodhran.
