A few new concertinas in the concertina shop this week www.concertinashop.com.au including a beautiful 48key Wheatstone aeola amboyna

Oh, very nice!

From 9th November 1926, and there are lots more gorgeous de-luxe Wheatstone's on the same page too, including the tortoiseshell 72-key Maccann duet #31354 that I was told Kenneth Chidley had made for his wife, and passed through my hands some 40-odd years ago.

Corrected mistyped date.

Yes Stephen

Great concertinas on that pages.

We also have 31355 and 31358 which are on that page and they were owned by the Astleys from oldham and are dated 1926 from the ledgers not 1936

The Amboyna's a beauty, I used to have one, it became a bit too loud for my old ears.

The offering that caught my eye at www.concertinashop.com.au was this unusual pair:

$13000 delivered to Michigan (if only money were no object).
