Mattx92 Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 Hello! I just got a McNeela New Swan 2 a few months ago. Everything was working fine. I put it in the case. When I pulled it out I hear a piece of it is stuck inside of the belows and half my instrument doesn't produce sound! I think it's probably a simple fix. But not sure if I should tackle the repair or try and send it back. This is as far as I got. I'm guessing it's some sort of plague that holds the Reed's in. Easy fix? Or nightmare I should send back?
Tiposx Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 Possibly a reed plate has detached and is floating around in there. An easy enough fix for a repairer, but I think it would be best to contact the manufacturer.
Mattx92 Posted September 5, 2023 Author Posted September 5, 2023 Gotcha! I appreciate your reply! I contacted the manufacturer and they said they would fix it for free, I just have to pay shipping 😄 Thanks again
