Is it possible to play Monster Hunter - Proof of a hero on Anglo Concertina?

I've recently picked up an Anglo Concertina (~2 months ago) and have been really enjoying playing a lot of video game music, such as from Sea Of Thieves. Next I wanted to learn this song and couldn't find anyone that had done this on Concertina. Does anyone think it would be possible to even play this song on the concertina? If so I may give it a go at trying to make the sheet music for it myself.

If this is the song here, I think it's gonna be way too hard to attempt: https://musescore.com/user/7150911/scores/5618012

The song is jumping all over the place in terms of keys; starting in Eb, then Gb, then E, G, Bb, A, back to Gb, Eb, Gb, E, G, then Gb again. If it had stayed in one key, like Gb, I'd have suggested transposing the key to C and trying from there. To me, the song looks and sounds well beyond what a 30 button Anglo can achieve.

Edit: that's not to say it's impossible, but it's gonna take a lot of time and dedication, and you will have to compromise a lot on the harmony I think.

Yea when I tried to make it I kinda just skipped a bunch of the starting notes and overall it wasn't turning out great so I just gave up on it.

I love your videos btw and pretty much every song I've learned on the concertina came from your videos, so keep up the great work!

Can you possibly send me a MusicXML exported version of it?

Oh, sweet... this is going to be fun...

I can read it in the tool, but abcjs can't handle it... I have another idea...

I'd say this is not a tune for most mere mortals to attempt on the concertina... 🙂

Mozart was able to import the xml, export it to abc and reimport the abc (attached). Your tool appears to hang attempting to process the abc.

The import process of either format in Mozart takes very long (several minutes), and the resulting score is atrociously unreadable, but it appears to play alright.

It could be done on a duet with enough buttons, I guess, but imho it requires a very experienced musician to successfully do it along with a good deal of compromises on the arrangement. Not my scheme of prey anyways.

I found this video of concertina Joel playing it and it actually sounds very good and what I was looking for, sadly, no sheet music posted anywhere that I could find.

But I guess this answers the question, yes, yes it can be played on the anglo concertina

Concertina Joel says on his youtube page:

Unfortunately I learn and arrange mainly by ear, so for most pieces I don't have sheet music to give out. Someday I'd like to start writing up sheet music to help others, but I'm not the best at music theory myself so it's very time consuming...
