wunks Posted July 3, 2023 Posted July 3, 2023 Intrigued by the bellows. Has anyone ever made a working instrument that way? The introduced twist looks like it could be pleasant to play!
Clive Thorne Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 If you made the bellows in two halves, "Wound" the opposite way then the twist could be eliminated, though I guess it would do your brain in to watch it.
d.elliott Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 With all the heavy rain at the moment, I was expecting to see you using the concertina to pump out house foundations

John Wild Posted July 11, 2023 Posted July 11, 2023 Scary. I hope everyone got safely out of their cars.

According to the news reports, everyone got out of (or was rescued from) their cars safely but one woman in her thirties drowned, swept away by currents as she tried to evacuate her house. 1
SIMON GABRIELOW Posted July 11, 2023 Posted July 11, 2023 You have my thoughts and sympathy as I live near York (UK) and it is well known for flooding quite severely over the years. It is next to two rivers (Ouse and the Foss.).. we developed quite good flood defences that really helps.
Anglo-Irishman Posted July 12, 2023 Posted July 12, 2023 Thanks, whoever it was who sent it - we had a thunderstorm last night, which replenished our almost empty rain-barrels. My sympathy to those affected by flooding. It's all so unevenly distributed these days! Cheers, John
