If I remember correctly, the first Jewish mayor of Dublin was in the 1600s. So, I imagine there have been many 'Jews in Irish Music." I have visited the Irish Jewish museum and can recommend it.

It shouldn't matter what your origin, background, belief system, or anything else.. who you are etc.. as to playing any music. Particularly you will have found, I hope, how welcoming and democratic the free reed community is to people of all varieties; this net.com hopefully is an example of that also.
