Anglogeezertoo
Saw this beast in a post on Facebook at BOEREMUSIEK VIR AFRIKA I guess that it's about 16 inches (41 cms) across the flats with 84 buttons! Jake

SIMON GABRIELOW
Bloomin heck! He's either a very tiny man .. or its a giants concertina!!!!😊😊
JimLucas
I'm curious about both its origin and its musical range. And whether it might have more than one reed per note. I've actually played a bigger one (belonging to a friend), but with a much more limited range (fewer buttons). The size was apparently mainly for show. SIMON GABRIELOW
I think he was having a great day.. minding his own business, and then suddenly this enormous object hurtled down from the heavens, and landed upon him! So he is really attempting to get t off him (and not playing it at all!)😊😊
Bill Crossland
The concertina is a Wheatstone McCann duet, and Jon Boden playing it at the Royal Hotel. Dungworth. It was covered before in this thread:
d.elliott
If you want a size gauge, John is well over 6ft tall, look at videos of Bellowhead, he is the lead singer & fiddle player. When this instrument was with Neil Wayne (and it still might be??) I handled it, It was like pushing two dustbin lids together, before wheely bins were all the norm
SIMON GABRIELOW
I hope he is careful if it needs servicing or repair work - because he may fall inside it ; and it would be like getting lost inside an enormous pot-hole [ cave]!😊
