TW Upcott round 20b anglo

Never heard of it/them, but, it looks very German made, the missing buttons being a trademark of that type of manufacturing, they coming apart from the levers to which they were glued.  But, it would be cool for someones collection!  Good luck!

I believe they were imported. Not a lot known really.


                       Thomas William Upcott . 1847-1922

It appears, that  up to about 1880 he was, like his father, a saddle/harness maker.

From 1891 census and other subsequent records show him as a Musical Instrument Dealer at:

26 Edgeware Road, London.


Possibly a reason for the rarity of these instruments, they were/are notorious for rolling off tables at the slightest jolt.
