It has been checked over and everything is working as it should be and it is tuned to concert pitch (A=440hz) This is a beautiful instrument. Amboyna is a gorgeous decorative wood, and tends to be an indication of the highest possible level of quality that the specific model of instrument could be made to at the time. It’s a really lovely playing instrument- responsive with a very well-balanced tone, and the ends are in fantastic condition.
