SIMON GABRIELOW
Peacefulness by the Lake was a melody I wrote way back in 2012 actually; as a solo work, for any single melodic instrument. It was derived from visiting a mysterious lake set at the base of a spectacular huge inland cliff, somewhere in the North of Britain, where it is set below in a sort of basin of land, surrounded by trees, birch, ash, and oak, and roots that grow up from the ground. It is enchanting and, in its mirror like surface, is reflected all the moods the weather around can present, shown like a mirror on its surface.
