SIMON GABRIELOW Posted May 13, 2022 Posted May 13, 2022 I have had this in my collection for years; and it is easy to play, and so relaxing between trying out those more complex works. It is a lovely broad theme, that lends itself toΒ so many opportunities to add your own chords, or harmony, as you see fit; because, of course, it was on the melody line only, being originally for [recorder] in 17th century. My own transcription is here included, and its really worth trying out; and very straightforward.. [ignoring my own pencilled in numbering tablature of course]. 1
Martin Essery Posted May 13, 2022 Posted May 13, 2022 That is very nice, I will certainly give it a try π

SIMON GABRIELOW Posted May 14, 2022 Author Posted May 14, 2022 Wow! That was really really nice to hear. Such a lovely way of playing with a truly individual style, and I like the rhythm, it has its own energy. Grateful you posted that!

Thank you, I am having so much fun π Thank you for the original inspiration. I have played and composed for the harp for years, but the concertina has quite a different rhythmic feel and has awoken a new sense of music in me π
