SIMON GABRIELOW
I have always kept this little set of pieces as practice really. They are well known; and challenging on concertina [Anglo] I have found, and a challenge in terms of bellows versus button pressing .. going up and down the scale so fluently, is just manageable. And little finger [ right hand] comes into play for higher notes frequently! I used my transcription made years ago [when I was just starting out].. I renumbered it in a lower key, for convenience, and have used it in my collection ever since. There's a real sense of excitement builds up as you work towards that final movement; bristling with dem-semi quavers; but its always worth the effort.
