darcybethd
As seen in my other recent post, Im looking for other 'Southern Squeezers' like myself. Reading through the posts the majority of y'all (yeah, I said it!) are from the northern states and was just wanting to know if there are any others from the south out there. If there are, speak up! -Darcy
Nezu
I'm in Upstate South Carolina, just a stone's throw away from NC. ;]
RoyJanik
reckon it depends on if you consider Texas part of the South or not. But I reside in Austin.

Mark Evans
Hello Darcy. I'm afraid I don't count either seein's how I'm an ex-patriot Tar Heel. I lived in the Western part of the state (Glennville/Cashiers) and later Chapel Hill/Hillsborough. There was only one other active squeezer back then in Chapel Hill (20 years ago). I understand Dave Weinstein lived in North Carolina until recently moving to the West coast and is a member here. Perhaps he'll be able to direct you to any like minded folks your way. Also, our member Shipcmo hails from Tarboro. Welcome! Edited June 2, 2005 by Mark Evans
David Barnert
Bob Tedrow is in Homewood, Alabama.
Ken_Coles
Ross Schlabach (his handle here is rp3) lives on the N.C./S.C. border and has played anglo for quite a few years. He was very helpful to me when I was a beginner.
david dufficy
Well for another two months I am in the Outer Banks of NC, but then it's off to Maryland near Harpers Ferry WV. But if you are looking for someone who is any good, not me! At least not yet. David
Baxter
<poke poke> Is this thread still alive? I'm in Nashville TN, previously of Travelers Rest, SC (near Greenville). I've been taking the Anglo seriously for a couple of years, and I can almost play a tune or two by now. I'll be in the upstate SC area for a visit around August 17-24 - anyone want to jam? Bob Tedrow
There are a couple good players in Nashville who are friends of mine. Jeff Taylor is a Nashville session player (Ricky Scaggs et. al.) who is a good anglos player and a very very nice fellow. John Mock, another Nashville session player ( Dixie Chicks et. al.) is a good anglo player up your way. Bob Cowert is yet another Nashville concertina player. Of course, it's not a far drive down to Birmingham, Alabama where I live. Bob Tedrow <poke poke> Is this thread still alive? I'm in Nashville TN, previously of Travelers Rest, SC (near Greenville). RP3
Yep, I'm still here. I live in Tryon, NC and work in Spartanburg, SC. But in 7 days I'll be heading out to Noel Hill's NY class. Ross
Dave Weinstein
There are a number of concertina players (English and Anglo) in the Research Triangle, most of whom are not (to my knowledge) on C.Net. --Dave
guckey13
I'm here in the South! I'm a resident of Augusta, GA. Only been playing anglo for about a month, but have been intrested for about a year. It's good fun. Any others in GA?
Brian Humphrey
Some would say that Ft. Lauderdale is too far south to be in the south. There are two or three others in these parts not on CNet. Also, Paul Groff is down the road in the Miami area, and there's a fellow in Key West.
