My approach is to take the melody only [flute exercises] and add chords as you wish, and it provides more nuance in a way that he probably never originally intended. I don't know what he would have thought about instrument now played on.. however most composers at that time were more universal in their approach, than at other times; Sarabande is followed by a Double. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
