Hi everyone, my first post. I'm new to the concertina world.
I recently stumbled upon this advert from a 1914 Gamages catalogue. Apologies if this has been seen before but I thought I would share it in case it's new information.
It was interesting to me because it indicates that my English Lachenal was probably sold as a "best finish". 5 fold bellows, rosewood ends and bushed button holes.
Sadly I don't have the case.

Nice ad. I wonder if the person who laid it out knew anything about concertinas. It's really disorienting to see the English concertina displayed upside down to the way it normally would be held. I don't know if Anglo players react to the way their instruments are displayed.
