PeterT Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 I was wondering if others have favorite spots that they frequent that enhance their sound and pleasure? Well; I frequent Fanny's Farm Shop. Today, for the first time, I took my concertina up into the Tree House and played ...... anyone else played in a Tree House or similarly bizarre location? Peter.

The Toronto subway this past weekend. The sound on the platform -- 2 concertinas and a melodeon -- was sublime. Guilty parties, you know who you are. I'd upload a pic, but the attachments system keeps rejecting it. Edited September 4, 2008 by Jim Besser
Bill N Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 (edited) The Toronto subway this past weekend! The sound on the platform -- 2 concertinas and a melodeon -- was sublime! Another sublime Ontario Labour Day weekend location: Sitting on a rock at a backcountry campsite near Ompah on the shore of a granite lake playing Soldier's Joy (aka Billy Peddle in Nfld.) A clear, double echo sounded like church bells in the distance. If I wasn't there, I would have been at the Toronto Ale! Edited September 4, 2008 by Bill N
