Maarten Posted November 29, 2020 Share Posted November 29, 2020 One tone (A1) on my concertina sounds a bit hoarse. And does not respond directly to pressing the button. David Barnert Posted November 29, 2020 Share Posted November 29, 2020 Is it one of the notes you swapped? Or one nearby whose wax seal may have been disrupted by your work? Determine whether it’s on the bellows side (that you can see when you take the end off, sounds on the push) or the side facing the buttons (sounds on the pull). Then open up again, examine for obvious leaks or empirically reseat the offending reed and see if that helps. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
