Previously I or someone else may have posted a still from this movie "The Princess Comes Across."  Here is a youtube video.  I like that the poster on youtube wrote  "Some sources claim that MacMurray plays it himself in the film, but it's more likely it was dubbed."   Yes, even more likely than that.

Interesting. Why all the concertina imagery in the My Three Sons credits (including a push-pull sound at 1:14)? Did MacMurray ever play the instrument on the program?

Yeah, I know, but I get the feeling they used it because it sounds like a parody of an anglo concertina, like the hands/credits imagery throughout the video.

Ha, yes a harmonica for sure.  But to the common man a reed is a reed.  HaHa.   The visuals are concertina like.  BTW I was listing to this a a fairly decent volume and my dog left the room at the harmonica.   She howls with concertinas.
