Spring making jig

Hello folks,

I am wondering if any one has a drawing/ picture of a spring making jig , I’ve got some broken springs on my old Lachenal I'm using.025” phosphor

bronze wire .

I made this using Alex's jig as a model. It is cruder, but works very well. THe brass hexagon is an old 22mm stop end for copper pipe with the threads sawn off. Since the photos were taken I have added the guide to the right as per Alex's jig.

Since that blog post I modified the winder slightly to make the arms of the springs about 2-3 mm longer.
