Northwest Connecticut craigslist posting musical not posted in adjacent areas ( Albany NY, Western Mass.).  No interest or affiliation myself.

Any further details?  Is that an offer or a request?

FWIW, I've never even looked at Craigslist, so I'm not interested enough to learn how just to answer my question(s).

I looked it up for you, Jim.

It is an ad for a person in Connecticut, USA, offering online English concertina lessons.

Hi Jim.  I posted this because the location is in such a small geographic location ( extreme NW Conn.) and there are many players in the greater New York /NewEngland area that might be interested.  The musician Is not someone I know but I googled Lakewood Connecticut Concertina and a nice picture of ( I assume) his band came up including a fiddler whom I seem to recognize.  Perhaps someone here knows the fellow(s).  The ad is presented as an offer.

I tried the same, but among many unrelated pictures, the only band I found was the trio Talisk, who are Scottish.  (And their concertina player is playing an anglo.)

Did you find something else?  If so, could you post the link here?

Thanks for  that.  I was curious as to who it was.  Now I think I know (though not 100% sure).

I suspect that it's David Paton. I only met him once or twice, long ago (well, I've been in Denmark for 25 years, now.), but he's a fine musician... and he does a lot more than just concertina.

I'll guess that he's as good at teaching as at the rest of what he does.

Hey thanks for helping me get caught up in this great Concertina Net! Yes, Tom White is a good friend and we have been playing together for years.

I haven't recorded many Quebecois tunes but here is a medley that ends with a reel from up there.
