Reedless concertina sighted - chemnitzer variety

As I voyaged across the internet today I came across these two U-tube clips of a reedless chemnitzer concertina.

 

Made by Nathan Neuman, played here ... by  Gary Brueggen and his Ridgeland Dutchmen band.

I believe you can buy electronic conversion kits for accordions, so maybe he adapted one of those to interface with a chemnitzer keyboard?
