SteveS
I'm looking for a source of felt material for making my own pads - can anyone recommend a supplier? Cheers
Sprunghub
I used the 1.5mm Poly felt from this company for the Jeffries re-furb. It replicated the thickness of the original material. https://www.woolfeltcompany.co.uk/ I found Pinflair Bookbinding Glue very good at bonding card to felt to leather. wes
It seems right to use close to original materials. I now prefer the wool felt in between the card and leather. Here in the states, Joann's fabrics carries it. Cool beer coasters are ok for card stock if you wanna make a statement.
d.elliott
Can you guarantee a foam will last 40 to 50 years, felt pads can still be working at that age, even if they are percussive and will need changing Dave
