You can't delete a post. Only Ken and Paul can do that, and they don't do it frivolously.

(In a case like this, they might delete the post and Topic if you send them a message to request it. They're welcome to delete this response.)

 

But what you can do is edit your post to delete all the original text, possibly replacing it with something else. That's what I'm doing with this one, which was originally a reply to your original post. The replacement text could be something like "I discovered my post was redundant, so I've deleted the text. You're not missing anything."
