Hello All,

My mother passed away and left a beautiful 30 key Wheatstone MayFair Concertina.  Wondering if anyone can help me determine the value if I provide pictures???  Or perhaps suggest someone in my area (Oxford, Connecticut).

No question, call Button Box in Sutherland MA (near Northampton).  This is not a particularly valuable concertina, but also not junk, so you don't want to be taken if you decide to sell it.  Also might need some work, and BB will give you the straight.  Trustworthy.

Thank you so much!  I sincerely appreciate the responses.  I have already sent them a note!  Karen

Another thing to think about is learning to play it. Wouldn't it be neat to get enjoyment out of your mother's concertina?

Agreed - and it would be interesting to learn about the story behind this concertina‘s Swiss past life...

Best wishes - 🐺
