We'd estimate your anglo concertina as c.1876. The firm of Barnett Samuel was established in 1832 and the 'and Son' came into being in 1875.We have over 30 reports of Lachenal concertinas with this firm's labels, starting in the early 1870s and continuing to the mid 1890s. The firm stopped in 1919.

I would appreciate a circa date for my 37011 Lachenal 48 key English Baritone that I am thinking of selling.

Thank you

Hello all! I've just got 30k Rosewood Anglo 144672 - I'm guessing 1910 ish, can anyone narrow it down for me. Also if you restored this one, Dave Robertson, restorer in Norfolk was really curious about who made the bellows 😊 Many thanks

I just came into possession of a Lachenal 20 button Anglo with wooden ends, serial # 144931. The case has a label from J.H. Ebblewhite's Music & Musical Instrument Warehouse. From other posts here I am guessing a date of mid 1890's.

Edit: # 144931

I would like an estimate for my 56 button English Lachenal, which has a makers label that says  Lachenal & Co., and serial number 21202.

Thanks!
