darticus
I have a Stagi concertina and I believe it to be a C2. Is there a way to tell for sure if its a C2 or C3 without taking it apart? I like its sound and might want a C3 if this is a C2 for sure. A C3 must have a much greater fuller sound over a C2. Is there a way to hear the difference on the internet? Takayuki YAGI
According to this page, the weight of C1 is 1.14kg, C2 is 1.3kg and C3 is 1.81kg. You can weigh yours and will know which model it is.

The Stagi C1 weighs 985kg and the C2 Bastari weighs 1.147kg so weight won't work. Maybe the old Bastari is dried out and lighter. That was a good try.
