Randy Stein
It's been a hot, humid summer, but relief is on the way. And so is another jam in the (mostly) cool basement on Sunday, Sept 4, 2-6 PM at the home of Jim Besser. I know some of you will be traveling, but if you're in town, please join us. As always, this is an 'anything goes' session. We'll probably gravitate toward contra dance music, but if past jams are indicators, we will roam widely across the world of traditional music and beyond. At recent sessions we've done Irish, oldtime, English, jazz, klezmer, French, French Canadian, ragtime, Tin Pan Alley and much more. If weather permits, we can move some or all of the session to the patio in the woods and entertain the neighbors. Let me know if you think you can come. It's OK to invite other fun musicians, but let me know so I'll have a rough count. Feel free to bring drinks and nibbles. Folding chairs or stools might come in handy if we have a big crowd. If interested ping me or Jim for directions.
