There is an amazing concert series here at Bryant Park in my home town, New York City. It's called Accordions Around the World and as you may suppose, the variety of styles, genres, ethnicities and "accordions" presented is ear boggling. Though they call it "accordions", many variety of bellows driven free reeds are represented, including me on Anglo concertina, singing and accompanying my friend Henry, the 10 inch wooden dancing wonder, a planchette marionette that I operate with my knee. Here are my dates:

Accordions Around the World is a weekly series that regularly features six accordionists as well as bandoneon/bayan/concertina/harmonium-players of different musical genres performing in various locations around Bryant Park. The series, produced with Ariana's List, represents many cultures and genres, offering audiences the chance to experience the often overlooked or little-known instrument.
