This is a magnificent, as new and eminently playable professional free reed instrument, personally commissioned (by the seller) less than 1 year ago for a specific project and is 8 months old from delivery. This, along with a similar 6 year old G/D (separately listed) represents the very best that this maker is capable of and in all the years he has been producing, I have never had a bad one in my hands. For this kind of quality you can’t pay less – new or used – it is a beautiful sounding and looking box and plays extremely well. It has metal ends, metal buttons and 7 fold black leather bellows with Jeffries style papers and Jeffries style embossing where the bellows fit to the ends and comes with a high quality fitted hard case. I am selling because a) the project is now complete and I don’t need two Bb/F anglos. If it were the only one I had – I would most definitely be keeping it and using it. The same applies principally to the G/D. Both instruments purchased as a pair will come to only £4000.00 instead of £2500.00 each, sold separately.
