Looks nice! But seems to be a strange range - Middle C up for 2 1/2 octaves to G. Or is it a "Tenor/Baritone" - tenor range, baritone tuning?

A lovely collector's piece.

The range is likely to be that of a 'treble' of its day (without some of the more familiar higher and lower notes we are accustomed to seeing). The first of the 48 key treble models, that we are familiar with these days, seem to date a few years later e.g. http://www.concertinamuseum.com/CM00009.htm

Then it would have middle C as the lowest note, the same as a standard flute rather than a violin. And I think the upper end of the range would be considered similar to the "normal" range of a flute.

In the past I've seen a couple of such instruments... the one had 28 buttons; I don't remember how many the other had, except that it was fewer than 48.
